Canadian Electronic Library / ebrary meeting at CLA Conference

From Gary Gibson, Gibson Library Connections:

I am writing today to invite you to join us for our “third annual ebrary / CEL users group meeting” to be held in conjunction with the CLA Conference in St. John’s this month.

This is an annual event where we bring both current customers and other interested parties together to discuss issues of common interest concerning e-books in general and ebrary and Canadian Electronic Library in particular.

This is not a sales presentation or product demonstration but rather a roundtable discussion covering topics relevant to you and your organization that will help both ebrary and Gibson Library Connections better serve the Canadian market and adapt to the ever changing landscape.

Some of the topics we will cover include:

Subscription or perpetual access?
Key licensing issues
Desired interface enhancements
New or revised product offerings
Consortia opportunities

Your participation at this gathering will help shape the future of CEL & ebrary services in Canada and your feedback is extremely valuable.

When: Thursday, May 24th, 7:30 am
(We’ll wrap up by 8:45 to get you to your first conference session)
Where: Delta Hotel, Governor Gower Room
120 New Gower Street, St. John’s, NL
What: Roundtable Meeting with continental breakfast
Hosts: Gary & Bob Gibson, Gibson Library Connections
Bryan Keane, ebrary Regional Sales Manager

Please RSVP by May 11th.

Due to high demand at the Conference hotel we are faced with limited space availability so we ask that if you are unable to attend that you contact us about designating an alternate contact to represent your organization but that otherwise you treat this as a personal invitation.

Thanks & Regards, Gary
