This new method of scientific publishing allows researchers and students to learn new experiments much faster than traditional text journals, thereby increasing the reproducibility and the efficiency of research in the biological sciences.

Merck Index Online is the internationally recognized encyclopedia of chemicals, drugs, and biologicals that contains more than 10,000 monographs. The entries cover a wide range of compounds that have been selected by the editors on the basis of present or historic importance and interest.
